Veronika Ban is a highly accomplished volleyball player and coach with a proven history of leadership and competitive success. A standout athlete at Newbury Park High School, she earned First Team All-League honors all four years and served as team captain in her senior year. Veronika also led the Ventura County All-Star Team to victory.
As a six-year player with Reef Volleyball Club, Veronika excelled as a versatile Middle/Opposite hitter before continuing her collegiate career at Pierce College. There, she helped secure back-to-back State Championships in 2010 and 2011. Serving as co-captain, she earned AVCA All-America honors and First-Team All-Conference recognition both years in the competitive Western State Conference.
Veronika then accepted a full scholarship to Central Connecticut State University, a Division I program, where she helped the team reach the Northeast Conference Championship finals in 2012 and 2013, finishing as runner-up both seasons.
Passionate about volleyball, Veronika transitioned into coaching while pursuing her MBA as a Graduate Assistant at Bryant University, a Division I program. She played a key role in recruiting and player development, helping the team reach its first-ever Conference Tournament appearance.
She also coached club volleyball on the East Coast, leading the 18-1 Blast Volleyball Club to consistent top-five finishes in New England.
Now in her 11th season coaching at Reef Volleyball Club, Veronika has been an integral part of Reef’s success. She has worked alongside both Brock and Dustin, helping lead teams to multiple medals at national tournaments and consecutive USAV Nationals bids. Her ability to develop athletes, attention to detail, and commitment to excellence have made her an invaluable member of the Reef coaching staff.
Her deep knowledge, competitive spirit, and dedication continue to inspire and develop the next generation of players.
