Erika is a proud Conejo Valley native and a standout volleyball player who has left her mark at every level. As the starting Middle Blocker at Westlake High School, she led her team to a CIF Championship and four Marmonte League titles. She also competed with the elite Renegades club, helping secure numerous club volleyball championships.

Erika earned a full athletic scholarship to the University of Houston, a Division I program, before transferring to the University of California, Irvine, also Division I, to be closer to home. At UCI, she continued as the starting Middle Blocker on a full scholarship, playing a pivotal role in the team’s success.

After a successful volleyball career, Erika pursued a professional career in commercial insurance. She is married to Ben, a fellow UCI alumnus and former college volleyball player, and together they have three children: Payton, Ethan, and Tristan.

Erika currently coaches the frosh/soph girls volleyball team at Westlake High School, sharing her expertise and passion with the next generation of athletes. We are excited to have Erika back with us for her third season at Reef.
