Erika is a proud Conejo Valley native and an accomplished volleyball coach whose playing career and passion for athlete development continue to make a lasting impact at Reef Volleyball Club. With experience competing at the highest levels of high school, club, and NCAA Division I volleyball, Erika brings a wealth of knowledge, leadership, and enthusiasm to every team she coaches.
A standout Middle Blocker at Westlake High School, Erika helped lead the Warriors to a CIF Championship while capturing four Marmonte League titles. She also competed for the nationally recognized Renegades Volleyball Club, where she contributed to multiple championship-winning teams and established herself as one of the area’s top collegiate recruits.
Her success earned her a full athletic scholarship to the University of Houston, where she competed at the NCAA Division I level before transferring to the University of California, Irvine to continue her collegiate career closer to home. At UC Irvine, Erika remained on a full athletic scholarship as the team’s starting Middle Blocker, competing against some of the nation’s top collegiate programs.
After completing her collegiate career, Erika built a successful career in commercial real estate while remaining actively involved in the volleyball community. Today, she serves as the Head Varsity Beach Volleyball Coach and Varsity Assistant Girls Indoor Volleyball Coach at Westlake High School. Her experience coaching both disciplines allows her to bring a unique perspective, technical expertise, and a well-rounded approach to developing athletes.
Now entering her fourth season with Reef Volleyball Club, Erika brings a unique combination of elite playing experience, technical expertise, and a passion for mentoring athletes. Her positive leadership, attention to detail, and commitment to player development make her an invaluable member of the Reef coaching staff.
Erika is married to Ben, a fellow UC Irvine alumnus and former collegiate volleyball player, and together they are the proud parents of three children: Payton, Ethan, and Tristan.
