Adrianna “Coach Adi” has been immersed in the game of volleyball for as long as she can remember. Raised in a volleyball family, she grew up on the courts at Ventura College, where she spent countless hours watching her mother coach and developing a lifelong passion for the sport. Her grandfather, Billy Arnold, a longtime club director at Channel Islands Volleyball Club, further fueled that passion by helping establish one of the area’s first youth volleyball programs, giving Adrianna an early introduction to the game.

Adrianna began playing club volleyball at just eight years old with Channel Islands Volleyball Club before continuing her career with LAVA, Rise, and ultimately Reef Volleyball Club. A dedicated libero throughout her playing career, she developed the grit, discipline, leadership, and court awareness that define the position. Today, she instills those same qualities in the athletes she coaches, emphasizing confidence, resilience, and a relentless work ethic.

A graduate of Foothill High School, Adrianna was a multi-sport athlete who competed in indoor volleyball, beach volleyball, and soccer. She concluded her club career with Reef Volleyball Club, competing on the 18 National team before transitioning into coaching with the same passion and competitive spirit she displayed as a player.

Now entering her fourth season with Reef Volleyball Club, Adrianna has quickly established herself as a rising coach within the program. Over the past two seasons, her Local teams have earned an impressive seven first-place tournament finishes, reflecting her ability to build confident, competitive athletes and create a winning team culture. She also serves as an assistant coach for Reef’s 16 Select team, where she continues to help develop athletes at a higher competitive level.

Known for her calm demeanor, patience, and genuine care for her athletes, Coach Adi creates a positive environment where players can build confidence, develop their skills, and enjoy the game. Her lifelong connection to volleyball, strong technical foundation, and commitment to player development make her a valued member of the Reef coaching staff.
