Adrianna “Coach Adi” has been immersed in the sport of volleyball from a very young age. Raised in the gym, she spent her early years running around the Ventura College courts while watching her mother coach. Her passion for the game took root quickly. So much so, that her grandfather, Billy Arnold, a longtime club director at Channel Islands Volleyball Club, started one of the area’s first youth “littles” programs.

Adrianna began her volleyball journey at the age of 8 with Channel Islands Volleyball Club and went on to play for LAVA, Rise, and ultimately finished her club career with her Reef family. She has always specialized in the Libero position, one that demands grit, discipline, and relentless focus. As a coach, she instills these same qualities in her players, encouraging them to lead with determination and purpose, regardless of their position.

A graduate of Foothill High School, Adrianna was a multi-sport athlete, competing in indoor volleyball, beach volleyball, and soccer. She joined Reef as a senior, playing on the 18 National team, and has since transitioned into coaching with the same energy and passion she brought to the court as a player.

Now in her third season as a coach at Reef, Adrianna made a strong impact last year in her first season with the Locals program, leading her team to three first place finishes. She also contributes her experience and leadership as an assistant coach for the 16 Select team.

We are incredibly proud to have Coach Adi as part of the Reef family. Her dedication, positivity, and love for the game make her an invaluable part of our coaching staff.
