Monaye is a proud Reef Volleyball Club alum whose passion for the game, leadership, and competitive spirit have made her a rising coach within the Reef program. As both a former Reef athlete and current collegiate player, she brings firsthand experience, enthusiasm, and a strong connection to the athletes she coaches.

As a three-year player at Reef Volleyball Club, Monaye competed as a starting setter and defensive specialist, helping lead 17 National Dustin to a gold medal finish and a bid to the USAV Girls Junior National Championships. Her experience competing at a high level of club volleyball helped shape the leadership, work ethic, and team-first mentality she now brings to the sideline.

At Westlake High School, Monaye was a four-year varsity beach volleyball player and a key contributor to the girls indoor volleyball program. She served as team captain during her senior season and earned numerous individual honors, including three Most Valuable Player awards, two First Team All-Marmonte League selections in beach volleyball, and the Coaches Award in recognition of her leadership, dedication, and commitment to her teammates.

Following high school, Monaye continued her volleyball career at Ventura College while pursuing a degree in Marketing, further expanding her experience as both a player and student-athlete.

Now entering her third season coaching at Reef Volleyball Club, Monaye has already made an immediate impact. This season, she helped guide her 16s team to a gold medal, continuing the tradition of success she experienced as a Reef athlete. Her positive attitude, ability to connect with players, and passion for teaching the game make her a valued member of the Reef coaching staff.

Monaye is committed to helping young athletes grow both on and off the court, inspiring them to compete with confidence, work hard, and enjoy every step of their volleyball journey.
