Ben is a Moorpark native and a distinguished volleyball athlete with a rich history of leadership and achievement. At Moorpark High School, he was a four-year varsity starter at Middle Blocker, team captain, and led his squad to a League Championship, earning First Team All-League honors for his outstanding performance. His talent and dedication earned him a recruitment to the University of California, Irvine, a Division I powerhouse, where he continued as the starting Middle Blocker.
Ben’s exceptional skills also led to his selection for the US Men’s Junior National Volleyball Team, highlighting his status as one of the nation’s top young players. Following his collegiate volleyball career, Ben pursued law and graduated from Loyola Law School in Los Angeles, where he has since built a successful legal career.
Married to his lovely wife, Erika, the couple shares three wonderful children. With nearly 30 years of experience in playing and coaching volleyball, Ben brings a wealth of knowledge, leadership, and passion to the game. Now in his third season coaching with Reef Volleyball Club, we are thrilled to have him back, inspiring and developing the next generation of athletes.
